The Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) has been a leader of significant environmental victories in New England. A local advocacy group, CLF has been a prime mover in bringing clean energy online using law, science, and markets to create change. CLF President Brad Campbell and other advocates — all on the frontlines of environmental advocacy — will share the tactics and strategies used to outpace the nation on environmental issues, i.e. protecting our oceans and iconic marine life and fighting for clean drinking water. We’ll learn our legal rights and how to push for local laws and policies that protect our community from emerging environmental threats.

Biography:
Bradley M. Campbell is the president of Conservation Law Foundation (CLF), a position he has held for close to four years. Prior to joining CLF, Brad was at the forefront of shaping the country’s most significant environmental policies and laws. A former White House senior appointee during the Clinton administration, he was the regional administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mid-Atlantic Region and served as commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. In 2006 Brad launched a law firm with a focus on issues involving the environment, energy, entrepreneurship, and science and he lectures and writes regularly on major legal and policy issues.
